📲 Setup & Getting Started (Duel Mode)

Requirements for both players:

  • Compatible recent iOS or Android phone
  • Internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) on each phone
  • Individual app account and access code activation

Step-by-step:

  1. Mount your phone
    Secure a compatible phone (with case if desired) firmly into the mount above the blaster. This forms your complete “game rig.”

  2. Download & Activate the App

    • Download the ARstrikes app from the App Store or Google Play.Duel Icon
    • Use the access code included with your set to activate Duel mode on that device.
    • Each code activates play on one device.

  3. Connect the two players

    • Player 1 creates a server room in the app.
    • The app generates a QR code.
    • Player 2 scans the QR code.
    • The live session starts automatically.

    Both phones stay connected over the internet and keep the game state (health, ammo, hits, etc.) in sync in real time.

  4. Play
    Move through real space, aim with your phone’s camera, and pull the mechanical trigger. The app handles scoring, feedback, and match status.

Duel is face-to-face, head-to-head competition for two players. Both players move in the real world while their phones run a synchronized live match.
